Measuring Tips

Here’s a few tips before you begin.

You will need a tape measure which will measure between two surfaces.  Almost all modern tape measures do this.  Do not use a dress makers cloth tape, it will not be accurate enough.

Always take three measurements for the width of the window and three measurements for the drop of the window.

Enter the smallest of each as the Width and Drop on your order form and circle R for recess measurement.  We take off the necessary allowances so that your blind will fit.

If you want your blinds outside of the window recess take just the width you want and the drop you want and circle E for exact.  We will make your blind to this exact size.

Remember, measuring is very important.  If you get it wrong your blinds won’t fit. The measurements are entirely down to you so please take your time to ensure you order your sizes correctly.
